Question 1

What is DyeFlow?

Accepted Answer

DyeFlow is greige fabric processing and lot tracking software. It tracks every lot of raw (kora kapra) fabric from purchase through processing stages to a final per-lot costing report — including supplier payments, shrinkage and gain.

Question 2

How does lot tracking work?

Accepted Answer

Every purchase gets an automatic lot number. That same number follows the fabric through store, every processing stage, payments and reports — so you always know which lot you are looking at.

Question 3

Does it track shrinkage and gain?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each stage records input and output meters, and DyeFlow computes the shrinkage or gain per stage plus the net difference across the whole chain — so you know exactly where meters were lost.

Question 4

Can it run a dyeing unit on customer-supplied fabric?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fabric a customer sends you runs on its own pipeline, separate from fabric you buy: an incoming gate pass with rate, expected delivery and attached documents; storage and inspection where defective meters are recorded and separated; the dyeing run; a quality check that a supervisor must approve; and a dispatch gate pass linked back to the incoming one, carrying processed quantity, rejected quantity and dyeing charges.

Question 5

Can I raise purchase orders and track stock?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Purchase orders support line-level and document-level tax, partial or full receiving, and payment due dates, with their own payment ledger. Received goods land in a warehouse and move through a stock ledger, and items carry categories, units, images and reorder levels.

Question 6

Can I control what my staff can see and do?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Role-based permissions cover every action, and entire modules can be enabled or disabled for your business. An operator can record stage outputs without ever seeing purchase rates.

Question 7

How are supplier payments handled?

Accepted Answer

Every payment is recorded against the lot's supplier ledger. Paid and remaining balances update live, and the global payments page filters by date and supplier. Job work, sales and purchase orders each have their own payment ledger too.

Question 8

Can I send a gate pass or invoice to a customer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Gate passes and invoices can be shared as a signed public link — the recipient opens the document in a browser with no login, and the link is scoped to that one document.

Question 9

Can more than one business run on the same system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. DyeFlow is multi-tenant: every business is its own Brand with its own data, its own enabled modules and its own display currency. The same person can be an admin in one brand and have no access to another.

Question 10

Does it work on mobile, and in my language?

Accepted Answer

Yes. DyeFlow is a responsive web app with light and dark modes — phones, tablets and desktops, no installation. The interface ships in 9 languages, including Urdu, Arabic and Chinese.

Question 11

What does DyeFlow cost?

Accepted Answer

There are three plans. Starter is free — you sign up, get your own brand with every module switched on, and no card is needed. Business and Enterprise add guided setup on your own lots, branded gate passes, staff training, data import from your Excel registers and, for a group, several units under one login; both are quoted per business. Open the plans from the Pricing link, or book a free demo and we will walk through it with your own numbers.
